UVC-Light Sterilization Room for Ultimate Safety

UVC light is a germicidal UV light that can effectively stop the spread of harmful bacteria and viruses like COVID-19. Lewis Estates Dental Centre uses this technology to disinfect the entire clinical treatment room to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.

This type of UV light has a wavelength that can stop the replication of viruses and bacteria, effectively killing harmful microorganisms and pathogens. We take every precaution to ensure our clients are always protected while in our clinic.

This oral cancer tool is a blue excitation lamp using light-emitting diodes to detect cell changes. It is a simple, non-invasive method for Dr. Bains to use rather than relying on radiation, dyes, chemicals, or other harmful substances.

Guided Biofilm Therapy

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is a state-of-the-art technique we use at LEDC to manage plaque and promote a return to health in the oral tissues. A secondary affect is that it can improve “caries risk,” which can also be refered to as decay. It involves AIRFLOW®, PERIOFLOW®, and PIEZON® technologies to reduce patients’ appointment time while effectively managing plaque.

GBT is a systemic, comfortable, and efficient solution to manage dental biofilm, which can help reduce:

• Caries
• Gum disease
