Supporting the Lurana Shelter Society

Dr. P.K. Bains and our team at Lewis Estates Dental Centre have always realized the importance of giving our time and resources to causes that mean so much to the community.  One of the organizations that is endearing to us is the Lurana Shelter Society in Edmonton. The Shelter offers safe refuge and life-changing services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence in our region. The Lurana Shelter Society currently administers three distinct programs:

1. Operation of a first-stage, emergency shelter providing safe, secure refuge and emergency services such as food, clothing, transportation and child support.
2. Child-specific programming to assist vulnerable children and youth as they deal with the abuse they have witnessed and endured.  
3. Adult and youth outreach services designed to ensure victims’ safety, assist them in breaking the cycle of violence and provide support and guidance.

A special month to support a good cause

As part of Lewis Estate Dental Centre’s commitment to supporting Lurana Shelter, we’re donating a percentage of proceeds from all teeth whitening during the month of June to the shelter. So if you’ve been putting your whitening off, come in during the month where you’ll not only look great, but you’ll feel great too…knowing that you’re helping out such a worthy cause.
